Fabric Paintings

A few weeks ago I made a couple of fabric paintings. I stretched fabric over a 6"x6"x1.5" wood frame (I made the frames myself and I'm quite proud of that), and primed and painted on it. One of these I sold already (had a cute french bulldog silhouette, pink and green color scheme) but I will probably make more. They are great for a baby's room--on a shelf or on a wall

I need a long horizontal painting for one of my bedroom walls. I think what I'm going to do is cover a frame with heavy white fabric and paint something like this on it (only horizontally). This inspiration rug is from CB2. And of course when it happens, I'll post it on my blog.

Watercolor Nest

My former neighbor is an interior designer and requested a specific painting for one of her clients. I finished this a while ago, and finally got it scanned in. See, I do still paint sometimes.
